DAY 1: NAIROBI - ARUSHA. Depart Nairobi at 1pm from a local airport. In Arusha transfer from Kilimanjaro Airport to a lodge in Arusha.

DAY 2: ARUSHA. We spend the whole day in Arusha National Park with its views of Mount Meru, the Momella lakes, and its inhabitants. Accompanied by a ranger we walk to a waterfall. Picnic lunch.

DAY 3: ARUSHA - LAKE MANYARA. A good road takes us to Lake Manyara. The afternoon is spent in the park looking out for the famous tree lions and other animals.

DAY 4: LAKE MANYARA. A full day is spent in the park.

DAY 5: LAKE MANYARA – NGORONGORO CONSERVANCY - SERENGETI. We drive to the higher altitude of Ngorongoro Crater and get a fantastic view into this vast basin. We visit the Oldupai Gorge and its museum. Game drive on the way to the lodge or tented camp within Serengeti.

DAY 6: SERENGETI. You spend the day on a game drive in this fantastic location, which includes a picnic lunch.

DAY 7: SERENGETI - NGOROGORO CRATER. We drive again through the endless plains, viewing game. Picnic lunch. In the evening we reach the crater rim for our overnight stay.

DAY 8: NGOROGORO CRATER. Early in the morning we descend into the crater to spend the whole day game watching.

DAY 9: NGOROGORO CRATER – TARANGIRE. Drive to Tarangire National Park with a game drive in the afternoon.

DAY 10 AND 11: TARANGIRE. These two days are spent with extensive game drives to visit the swamps and drive through baobab forests, look out for cats and other game.

DAY 12: TARANGIRE - ARUSHA - NAIROBI. Drive to Arusha for lunch and then fly back to Nairobi in the afternoon.
