DAY 1: NAIROBI - ABERDARES. Pick up from Kenyatta Airport or your hotel in Nairobi and drive to the Aberdares. Either picnic or lunch in the hotel. Later in the afternoon drop-off at Tree Tops lodge. It is an experience of a lifetime to observe the wild animals coming day and night to the waterholes and saltlicks in front of the Lodge.

DAY 2: ABERDARES - SAMBURU. Passing Mt. Kenya and Isiolo we continue our safari through Samburu land and reach Buffalo Springs Reserve. Game drive while crossing Buffalo Springs Reserve to reach Samburu National Reserve. First chance to see the fauna of the northern area.

DAY 3: SAMBURU and BUFFALO SPRINGS. Early morning game drive along the Ewaso Ngiro River. An added attraction to the river area is a wide gallery forest of acacia and doum palms. The river provides pools for hippos and sandpits for basking crocodiles. A large variety of wildlife is attracted to the river as a watering place. Afternoon game drive to the gaunt hills of Samburu Game Reserve, an area favoured by the Beisa oryx, Grevy zebras and long-necked gerenuks.

DAY 4: SAMBURU and BUFFALO SPRINGS.
Morning game drive to the Buffalo Springs Game Reserve, afternoon game drive in Samburu Game Reserve. This day is dedicated to searching for a leopard, so we will spend our time in areas frequented by this beautiful big cat.

DAY 5: SAMBURU - MARALAL. Today our safari leads through scenic Samburu land. You will have plenty of chances to see Samburu warriors in their picturesque costumes guarding their cattle or wandering from village to village. For lunch we reach Maralal Safari Lodge, which lies perched on the edge of a forested hill. A leisurely afternoon observing animals in front of the lodge or an optional guided walk in the reserve.

DAY 6: MARALAL - LAKE BOGORIA. We travel via Lake Baringo, one of the two fresh water lakes in the Rift Valley and famous for its bird life. Crocodiles bask in the sun and hippos come out at night to graze. We take lunch at the lake and proceed later to Lake Bogoria. You may visit the snake park near by or go for a boat ride.

DAY 7: LAKE BOGORIA. Early morning game drive along the lake. Walk along the lake shore to admire the geysers and flamingos. The lake region is a paradise for bird lovers. Lunch and swimming at the hotel. In the afternoon we return to the lake watching out for the Greater Kudu and maybe a leopard tortoise beside the road.

DAY 8: LAKE BOGORIA - LAKE NAKURU. We continue our safari passing sisal plantations and reach Nakuru town for lunch. Afternoon game drive along the lake shore inside the park. The pink mass of flamingos along the shoreline is a spectacle of immense beauty!

DAY 9: LAKE NAKURU. Early morning game drive in search of rhinos. Lake Nakuru is a famous rhino sanctuary and shelters over 60 white and 60 black rhinos. Afternoon game drive in search of one of the leopards that inhabit the park.

DAY 10: LAKE NAKURU - MASAI MARA. Early morning departure for the strenuous but beautiful drive to the Masai Mara. Lunch en route. Dry weather conditions will allow us to take the shorter route over the Mau Escarpment.

DAY 11 - 13: MASAI MARA. Whole day excursions of morning and afternoon game drives in the Masai Mara. With its richness in species and abundance of wildlife it is one of the world's best game viewing reserves. Elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, lions, hyenas, jackals, hippos, crocodiles and many more await you.
You can opt for an early morning balloon ride.

DAY 14: RETURN TO NAIROBI. Lunch en route. A dayroom is booked for you in Nairobi. Later transfer to the airport.
